Buggy Task 6:

This is a simple task that runs the buggy forward for 2 seconds and then runs it in reverse.

One of the most important features of the Intellecta system is the worksheets that assist in planning the solution. The worksheets hide the details inside and encourage the designer to plan the system in a top-down approach.

The strategy is simple - just place two worksheets on the workbook and make them run for two seconds. The time is set in the property of the worksheet that is set to be “independent” This means that the sheet runs and then starts the next one.

The start input comes on the input stub on the left of the sheet.

Rvse-  generates a fixed reverse value.

Inside the Forward worksheet

Place the icons inside the worksheet to follow the same Task as in Task 5. Motor 1 and Motor 2 are controlled by two Set-point icons that generate a fixed on and reverse value.

Notice that the Light icons are labelled as Light> and Light<.

It is always a good idea to document the strategy with as many labels as possible. It makes debugging and finding problems much easier.
