Picaxe Chips
These components are the brains of your microcontroller projects. They are programmed with your program that is created with the Programming Editor.
The program can be written in BASIC or generated with the Flowchart editor that also encourages the students to look at simulation of the program.
The chips are divided into 4 families - 8 pin, 18 pin, 28 pin and 40 pin devices. The number of inputs and outputs is related to the number of pins or actual electrical connections.
